Ghanaian outspoken actress Lydia Forson has taken to her social media page to lament the hikes in prices of commodities and cost of living as a whole in the country.
One of the pressing situations Ghanaians are facing currently is the increment in transport fares due to the increase in fuel prices. Drivers of commercial buses and cars have increased their fairs by 20%.
Aside from the increment in fuel prices and transport fares, utility bills have also increased. The Electricity Company of Ghana has also proposed a 148% increment in the electricity tariffs for 2020 also the Ghana water company has also proposed a 334% increment in water tariff.
Reacting to the increment in prices and cost of living, actress Lydia Forson has taken to her page to lament over the increment in everything except the salaries of people.
She tweeted, “Everything is increasing except salaries…”
