Popular entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah has said that the recent comparison between dancehall artist Shatta Wale and Black Sherif is part of the industry.
There have been a few times that some social media users have made some comparisons between Black Sherif and other senior artists in the music industry.
Shatta Wale in a live video last week lambasted those comparing him to Black Sherif and other young artists. In a recent interview on Kastle FM, Black Sherif registered his displeasure over the comparison done recently. He stated that some social media users do that for attention.
In a discussion on United Television, entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah Baidoo stated that comparing Shatta Wale and Black Sherif is part of the industry. He cited other Western artists like Asher, Sean Paul and others who used to be popular in the Western world as an example.
According to Arnold, every new artist brings new vibes, new lyrics, and styles that make people crown him the ‘highest’ of their time. He emphasized that it is not necessary to make an issue out of comparing two artists. He however commended Shatta Wale for maintaining his brand for years.
