More than 40 people were allegedly attacked by five masked equipped robbers traveling from Takoradi in the Western Region to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
In accordance to Ekua, a victim of the tragedy, the VIP bus with the registration number GRAND TOURING 5795-16 left the Abenbebon Station in Apremdo, Takoradi around 10: 30 g. m. on Weekend.
They were ambushed by armed men in the earlier hours of Mon and robbed of their possessions.
“Around 3: 30 a. m. on Mon, February 21, 2022, about five equipped robbers using guns and other weaponry attacked us and stole our money and other belongings. “They were all wearing masks, ” she explained.
